Unroll My Mail, And Roll It U.

I’ve now been playing with +unrollme for a few days, and although I like the basic premise I have a big problem with the default “rollups” used and the algorithm which classifies them.

I am somebody who has already made an attempt, and a reasonably good one at that, to rollup my mail. I have all the filters which place the data in a relevant folder structure based on what I receive: security; social media; friends; development; etc.

Unrollme ignores all the work I’ve previously…

Enable GMail Labs
This is a nice overview of the some of some handy GMail Labs features.

I use the undo send functionality on occasion when I forget to add something to my message. Most of the others are enabled, although I don’t use the left power bar component frequently I use the Open Social Apps I have installed there to monitor somethings, and to view the top docs in my Google Drive. And I like the regular shortkeys as they work the same as most of the other tools I use.
