I had a discussion this afternoon with a friend, she said that it would probably take a week to explore all of the googleverse. I obviously disagreed and said it would probably take closer to a month.
I was having trouble with synchronizing my CrackBerry and my calendar, and wanted to use some application to sync it, and I found Google Sync for your BlackBerry phone. Somehow it seems that Google uses something different for connecting to the Internet over all their applications. Both the GMail and the Google Calendar applications give me network not available, I have a similar problem with Opera Mini and FaceBook. Yet my GTalk works. AFAIK it’s something with http(s) connections.
I decided against reverse engineering.
- Google Sync for your BlackBerry phone
- Google Maps for your phone
- Gmail for your mobile browser
- Other Google Mobile Apps.
In this article they are happy about Gmail removing a standard feature, Gmail No Longer Auto Adds Contacts – Finally!. I’m not too happy about this, I use this feature to quickly add the people to my address book.
Still haven’t found something to fix this.
So I came to the logical conclusion, there is something wrong with my CrackBerry. I installed LogicMail and this didn’t seem to work either.
I think I might need to get my CB fixed. The little rollerball is broken, so I can get that fixed. In the mean time I can’t post to Facebook or WP from my phone, so that means less updates. Sorry…
I had a enterprise CrackBerry account, sadly I don’t have a BlackBerry Enterprise Server to go with it at the moment. So I wanted to set up POP3, IMAP or Gmail to be retrieved. I tried out a couple of tools which should enable this on my Enterprise CB.
I tried Tiggit. What can I say? It didn’t work. What do you use?
