Lately I’ve been noticing that many of the perks that PeerIndex is offering only valid based in the UK, even if you are eligible for a perk you are unable to get it. The same is true for Klout, its perks are primarily available in the US. A marketing company will start up in the EU, China who will use Klout and PeerIndex scores to give out perks to influencers. Posterous Trouble
After the Twitter acquisition of Posterous - the service known for it’s ability to automatically repost to multiple Social Media Services – seems to increasingly be in decline. After recent upload and mail issues, which both don’t seem to be fully resolved after they occurred more than 1 month ago. The API which allows third party apps to connect has unresolved bugs which make them unreliable. Is Twitter in the process of killing Posterous? Soon after Posterous announced on March 12th the FAQ announced that [they]’ll share instructions on how you can backup the content of your Space soon. This was a first hint that Twitter might kill Posterous, yet now almost 4 months their instructions have failed to materialize. And today I saw that there at least is some development on the site. They released a bug where in the Edit tags field they return the table indices rather than the values. |
